Water pollution drastically affects agriculture.
Contaminated water used for irrigation and livestock is a concern for African farmers. Much of the water we use comes from ground water reservoirs, canals, dams, rivers and rain. Clean and pure water is mostly polluted with organic compounds and heavy metals. This happens due to the disposal of industrial and agricultural waste in local water bodies.
As a result, crops and livestock are exposed to contaminated water.
Agricultural pollution is an increasing concern as it result's in the poison of livestock and crop failure
